Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what a technician needs to arrive at the right building with the right parts and the right authority to work, we do not sell any of it, and you can ask at any time what we hold. Detail below.
Information you give us
When you contact us about a service call, you decide what to share. In practice that is usually:
- A contact name, phone number, and email address if you provide one.
- The site address, suite or unit, and any access instructions.
- What the door or hardware is doing, and what it did before that.
- Who is authorized to approve the work, and any purchase order or landlord reference.
Photographs of an opening, if you send them, are kept with the job record.
Information the website collects
The site gathers ordinary technical data through standard analytics: browser and device type, referring page, approximate region, and which pages were viewed. None of it is used to identify an individual visitor.
Call tracking and recording
Tracking numbers may appear on this site so we can attribute a call to the page that produced it. Time, duration, and originating number are among the details that may be logged against a job for scheduling and quality review.
Recording, where it happens, is announced before the conversation begins, as the law requires.
What we use it for
Everything collected is used to run the job:
- Scoping the request and scheduling a technician.
- Loading the correct hardware, fasteners, and parts before the visit.
- Confirming that the person approving work has authority to do so.
- Producing surveys, finding sheets, quotes, and invoices.
- Following up on completed work and handling any complaint.
Personal information is not sold, and it is not traded to lead brokers.
Who it is shared with
Sharing happens only where it is needed to deliver your service or to comply with the law. In practice that means the technician assigned to the work, whoever processes your payment, and the vendors supplying our telephony, scheduling, and invoicing software.
Where a landlord, managing agent, or head-office facilities team is a party to the work, information about that job may be shared with them, because they are commissioning or approving it.
Court orders, lawful demands, and circumstances touching on safety or the defence of legal rights can also compel us to disclose.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies keep the site working and show us how visitors move through it. Browser settings can block or clear them, though some functionality may behave differently afterwards.
How long records are kept
Surveys, finding sheets, quotes, and invoices stay on file while they remain useful for operating the business, answering a dispute, or satisfying a tax or regulatory duty. Records relating to rated assemblies and safety inspections are kept longer, because their value is precisely that they can be produced years later.
After that, records are deleted or stripped of identifying detail.
What you can ask for
You may request a copy of what is on file, request that errors be corrected, request deletion of anything no legal duty obliges us to retain, or tell us to stop following up. Reach us through the details at the foot of this page and expect a reply inside a reasonable window.
Security and changes to this policy
Reasonable safeguards sit around the records we keep. Perfect security does not exist in telephony, in web hosting, or in a locked drawer, and pretending otherwise would be the least trustworthy sentence on this page.
This page is updated as tools, services, or legal duties change. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version.
